Order confirmation – Payment terms – Late payment penalties
The quotation is valid for sixty (60) days from its date of issue, subject to RENAUD Traiteur’s availability and the availability of seasonal products at the time of order confirmation. VAT rates are provided for information purposes only. In the event of changes to applicable legislation, these rates will be adjusted accordingly.
If a product included in the order becomes unavailable, RENAUD Traiteur may replace it with a product of a similar nature and equivalent value.
Orders become final only upon receipt by RENAUD Traiteur of a signed copy of the quotation and these Terms and Conditions of Sale, bearing the handwritten statement “Bon pour acceptation” (“Read and approved”), together with a deposit representing 30% of the total amount including VAT (collected upon booking), plus a further 50% (collected two months before the event) together with the final menu selection. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 10 days before the event. Failure to pay any amount by its due date will automatically result in the cancellation of the current order, without prior formal notice and without reimbursement of any amounts already paid.
Services subject to additional charges:
Any additional charges arising during the event must be paid upon receipt of the invoice.
These may include:
If these additional charges are not paid upon receipt of the invoice, a fixed compensation fee of €40.00 will be added. This amount corresponds to debt recovery costs (Articles L441-3 and L441-6 of the French Commercial Code). In the event of cancellation within the 10 days preceding the event, the service must be paid for in full. Under no circumstances may the service be postponed. All our prices include taxes and are valid for the current year. The final number of guests, menu selections and remaining reception details must be communicated to us no later than two months before the event, together with the scheduled start times of the cocktail reception and meal.
Order modifications
RENAUD Traiteur may accept changes to quantities, provided they do not exceed 10% and are requested at least 10 days before the delivery date. All modification requests must be submitted in writing. In all cases, modifications only become effective following written acceptance by RENAUD Traiteur. It is therefore expressly understood that, after this deadline, any reduction in quantities can no longer be taken into account.
Prices are established on the basis of the quantities communicated by the customer when the quotation is prepared. Any variation in the quantities ordered may result in a price adjustment in accordance with the pricing schedule in the Wedding Catalogue, which the customer acknowledges having read.
Order cancellations – Postponements
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Depending on the notice period, the following cancellation charges apply (expressed in working days):
These charges apply without any obligation to provide the customer with raw materials or finished products already delivered or prepared.
The customer acknowledges having read and unreservedly accepted this clause.
In the event of postponement of the event, for any reason whatsoever, including force majeure, the deposit already paid shall be retained by RENAUD Traiteur and shall not be refunded. If the event is postponed to a subsequent calendar year, the applicable prices shall be those in effect during the year in which the rescheduled event takes place. If the order differs from the original order at the time of postponement, an additional deposit may be required.
Pricing conditions
The prices stated in this quotation are based on the legislation in force on the date of issue, particularly regarding the level of taxation applicable to temporary staff contracts, which are essential to our profession.

In accordance with applicable food safety regulations, “products kept at temperatures above 10°C for two hours or more will be discarded”, in compliance with the guidelines of the French Ministry responsible for the food industry. Should the customer request otherwise, RENAUD Traiteur cannot guarantee the food safety of these products and accepts no liability in the event of food poisoning.
Liability
RENAUD Traiteur shall not be held responsible for any delays resulting from circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances may include, without limitation, official restrictions, breakdowns, traffic congestion, accidents, adverse weather conditions, acts of third parties, force majeure events, strikes, etc.
The customer shall bear full responsibility for any risks, breakage, damage, deterioration or loss of property or equipment.
Communication
In accordance with the French laws of 11 March 1957 and 3 July 1985, copyright and related royalties are the responsibility of the customer. The customer is therefore responsible for submitting the relevant declaration to SACEM, the French society for the collection and distribution of music royalties. Unless expressly prohibited by the customer, RENAUD Traiteur reserves the right to use photographs of the reception for its own communication purposes (brochures, press, internet, etc.).
Personal data protection
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, customers have the right to access, rectify and object to the processing of their personal data. These rights may be exercised by contacting RENAUD Traiteur.
Disputes
Any complaint from the signatory of the quotation must be communicated to the Head Waiter before their departure. Such complaints will be recorded on the “Reception Review” form.
